DMZ Tour

Stand at the world's most heavily fortified border

The Korean Demilitarized Zone is the 250-km buffer between North and South Korea — and one of the most surreal places on earth. Despite its name, it's one of the most militarized borders in the world, yet it's also an accidental nature reserve where endangered wildlife thrives in the absence of human activity.

Tours visit the Joint Security Area (JSA) at Panmunjom, where you can literally step into North Korea inside the blue UN conference buildings. You'll also visit the Third Tunnel of Aggression, Dora Observatory (with views into North Korea), and Dorasan Station — a train station built for reunification that has never been used.

DMZ tours must be booked through authorized operators and require passport information in advance. The JSA portion requires specific dress codes (no flip-flops, no sleeveless shirts) and follows strict military protocols.
